Cheran College of Technology, started in 2000 in Kangeyam, Tirupur, was founded by the Cheran Foundation Trust (established in 1991) to provide quality education in rural areas. Affiliated with Anna University, Chennai, the college has grown under the guidance of Mr. K.C. Palanisamy and the late Mrs. Soundari Palanisamy. Located in the heart of Tirupur’s textile and industrial hub, the college offers students hands-on learning linked to real-world industries. In 2023, it introduced B.E. programs in Computer Science, Cyber Security, Electronics & Communication, and Mechanical Engineering. With a focus on modern teaching, strong faculty, and continuous improvement, Cheran College of Technology is committed to shaping skilled professionals and contributing to national development.
